Spunta are long oval tubers with yellow flesh and yellow skin. They have high yield potential and have very good drought resistance. They make great potato salads. They are also good steamed or boiled.
The Spunta are an all-round but more waxy variety that work in the following cooking styles:
- Salad – Excellent
- Boil – Excellent
- Mash – Good
- Dry Bake – Good
- Roast – Good
- Fry (Chips) – Good
