La Ratte potato is a small fingerling seed potato with a unique nutty flavour and smooth, buttery texture. Similar to the Kipfler, this potato is over 100 years old and comes from France.
There is a very famous chef in France – Joël Robuchon that makes the best mashed potatoes in the world using La Rattes.
La Rattes are a waxy fingerling gourmet potato and are cooking for the following cooking styles:
